Good Morning, Burlington! |

Lovers of the arts, we've got a special treat for you today. This Saturday, October 4, acclaimed dance artist Neena Prasad will be performing at The Dance Complex in Cambridge. This will be the opening performance of her month-long U.S. tour, and she'll be performing Mohiniyattam, the lyrical classical dance form of Kerala, India.
A celebrated artist who has played a role in bringing the lesser-known form of dance back into the public awareness and expanding the ways in which it is expressed, Neena will be joined in accompaniment by live musicians and collaborators.
This performance is part of The Dance Complex Presents fall series and is produced by the Rasik Dance Concert Series, a Boston-based grassroots initiative dedicated to presenting Indian classical dance in their traditional forms.
Details:
When: October 4, 7:00 PM
Where: The Dance Complex, Cambridge MA
Tickets: $22-75 plus fees; dancecomplex.org or eventbrite.org

Lovers of the beers, tunes, and eats, we've got good news for you, too. Tonight is the last of the four Town Center Beer Gardens. After last Thursday's rain out, we are happy to report that today's event will feature clear skies (though you might want to bring a sweater)!
The final event of the season will feature brews from Arlington Brewing (Buzz fave: SpyPA), food from Taco Libre (Buzz fave: flautas!) and Chicken on the Run, and music by Burlington's own The Rusty Randoms.
The event goes from 4:30 to 8:30, and we'll be there for the duration. Stop by our table and say hi! |
